What shall I do if my payment terminal does not connect to the network?

If it is an Spc50 payment terminal:

  • Check whether the RJ45 Ethernet cable is correctly inserted in the terminal and in the internet box.
  • If the problem persists, unplug and replug the internet box

If it is an Spw60 payment terminal:

  • Make sure the Internet box works correctly.
  • Check the Wi-Fi connection by making sure that the router is properly powered. The RJ45 Ethernet cable must be inserted into the blue plug, while the WLAN and pwr light should be on.
  • If the problem persists, unplug and replug the internet box. Reset the terminal by removing the battery and putting it back. Then, turn on the terminal by pressing the button on the left side of the screen.

  

If it is an Spw70 payment terminal:

  • Make sure that the terminal is placed somewhere where there is a network.
  • Reset the terminal by removing the battery and putting it back. Then, turn on the terminal by pressing the button on the left side of the screen.

What shall I do if my payment terminal won't turn on?

If it is an Spc50 payment terminal:

  • Check the power supply.
  • Check the power button (button on the left of the TPE).

If it is an Spw60 or Spw70 payment terminal:

  • Check the power button (button on the left of the screen).
  • Check the charge level of the battery.
What if my payment terminal no longer prints?
  • Check if the paper is placed the right way (Servipay logo towards the terminal).
  • Check if the paper is thermal paper.

 

What if a transaction via my payment terminal is not approved?
  • Check the customer's card (validity/limit).
  • If possible, make a test transaction with another card.
  • Check if the payment terminal is properly connected to the network.
What if my payment terminal does not print my report of recorded transactions?

If the terminal was out of paper, do the following:

  • Main menu (button with a green square below the screen)
  • 3 (Reports)
  • 4 (End of day records)

If the device was not connected, either because there was no network, or because the terminal was off:

  • Check the TPE connection.
  • Restart the badge manually
  • Main menu (button with a green square below the screen)
  • 2 (Report)
  • 1 (End of day records)
What to do if the battery of my Spw60 payment terminal or SpW70 stops charging/no longer charges?
  • Check the positioning of the terminal on the base.
  • Check the charging pins on the base

How can I change my contact details or bank details?

Return the signed form you'll find under "documents to download" along with a document from your bank stating your full bank details ("RIB") info@servipay.eu

How to accept or make a contactless payment?

If the contactless icon is on the card, it means that is has the contactless technology. Making a payment is very easy with this technology:

  • I don't insert the card into the terminal. I type in the amount due. I place the contactless card on the payment terminal screen displaying the icon

  • A light turns on and a beep sounds. The payment is validated in less than a second.
  • Important note: before removing the card, I need to wait until the receipt is printed out.
